After storming the world for nearly 40 years and taking their very special brand of heavy metal to all four corners of the planet, JUDAS PRIEST - one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time, have announced their first ever Singapore tour date on February 20, 2012. This is the only show in South-east Asia on the EPITAPH Farewell World Tour.
The mighty PRIEST will certainly be going out strong as they rock Singapore on the massive EPITAPH tour. They will be playing the songs that helped make the name JUDAS PRIEST synonymous with heavy metal!
With all guns blazing and amps cranked to eleven, the band will be giving all their fans one last chance to witness the ultimate metal experience that is JUDAS PRIEST!
Joining JUDAS PRIEST on this colossal heavy metal double bill as special guests is “Pure American Metal” titans LAMB OF GOD. The leaders of modern heavy metal make their highly anticipated return to Singapore in conjunction with the release of their new album “Resolution” in January 2012.

Judas Priest Biography
Since 1974, Judas Priest has been one of heavy metal’s most successful bands. Judas Priest rose from the gritty, working-class steel town of Birmingham, England, and became one of the biggest bands in the world. From their debut release 'Rocka Rolla' through monumental albums such as 'Sad Wings of Destiny,' ''Sin After Sin,' 'Stained Class,' 'Hell Bent For Leather,' 'Unleashed in the East,' 'British Steel,' 'Screaming for Vengeance,' 'Defenders of the Faith' and 'Painkiller,' titanic songs like "Victim of Changes," "Sinner," "Exciter," "Hell Bent for Leather," "Living After Midnight," "Breaking the Law" and "You've Got Another Thing Comin' '' were born. Judas Priest defines and epitomizes both sonically and visually the Heavy Metal genre.
However, Priest’s influence goes far beyond their music - they were the first metal band to embrace the ‘leather biker look,’ a fashion that has since become synonymous with the musical genre. Additionally, Halford’s powerful four-and-a-half octave vocal range and the twin guitar harmonies of Downing and Tipton have been ‘studied’ by countless metal bands in Priest’s wake.

15 years ago, LAMB OF GOD began their ascent to the forefront of modern heavy metal. A self-described “pure American metal” quintet from Richmond, VA, took deliberate steps, paid the dues and withstood the knocks as an underground, un-commercial metal act.
Beloved by a rabid, grass roots cult of underground thrash fanatics thanks to brutal and technical albums like 2000’s New American Gospel and 2003’s As the Palaces Burn, the band toured relentlessly. Their uncommon work ethic, uncompromising musicianship and intellectual lyrics set them apart and the band has risen to the top of the independent metal scene.
LAMB OF GOD has built a career and a catalog of material that has inspired and fueled the evolution of Heavy Metal in the new millennium. The fact that LAMB OF GOD are still with us — after more than a decade that’s seen countless bands arrive on the scene and then disappear forever into the mists of obscurity — can basically be attributed to a combination of integrity, hard work and even harder riffs.
